In 1996, when Vietnam was in the progress of development and global integration, Vietnam National Shipping Lines was the first shipping company founded and owned the first container fleet in Vietnam.As the company grew large, Vinalines Containers was established in December 2008 to take over the operation and management of Vinalines’ container fleet to ensure optimal efficiency. Vinalines Container has equipped over 1,500 containers of 40 feet, 3,000 container of 20 feet (1,500 of which were made new in 2009) and 3 big vessels. In the coming year, the company will invest more vessels with capacity of 600- 1,800TEU. The company owns the most powerful container fleet in Vietnam. The fleet is operated by whole-hearted and experienced experts. Its chartering partners are major shipping lines in the world’s market as Maersk, K’line, APL, Wanhai, TSL, OEL, Samudera, Seacon, Evergreen… All of them make “Flexible schedule, Stable services, Helpful consultancy”. SERVICE NETWORK THAT MEET VARIOUS NEEDS FROM CLIENTS

Domestics container shipping service covers ports in Hai Phong (Transvina, Doan Xa), in the Central Area (Danang, QuyNhon), HCMC (Cat Lai, Vict, Tan Thuan), Ba Ria- Vung Tau (CaiMep). In addition Vinalines Container also provides connecting service to ICDs and ports in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Long An and the Mekong Delta.

International container shipping service is provided on international routes of Hai Phong- Hong kong, Hai Phong- HCMC- Singapore and vice versa. In the coming year, VinalinesCointainer will have plans for better and further shipping routes. The new route of Intra Asia connecting Japan- Korea- China- Vietnam- Singapre- India will soon be put in operation.
